Our main dealer trained technician will check and prepare your car for its test including;
Inside the car
- Do the doors open correctly?
- Are the seats and seat belts in good working condition?
- Rear-view mirror secure and the glass in good condition?
- Do the dash lights all operate correctly and show when in operation?
- Are there no chips or cracks on the wind screen? Any damage larger than 10mm in front of the driver and 40mm within the area cleared by the wipers will require attention.
- Is windscreen clear of obstruction? (no Air fresheners hanging from rear view mirror)
- Do the wipers clear the screen effectively and windscreen washers effective?
- Does the horn work?
Outside the car
- Do the doors, bonnet and boot operate correctly?
- External mirrors secure and intact?
- Are the wipers free from damage?
- Check tyres for tread depth, minimum 1.6mm over ¾ of the tyre and are free from lumps or cuts?
- Lights are checked for operation and damage.
- Is the petrol cap seal ok and secure?
